Good morning! Welcome to my current world. That's my big house thing back there. It's not done yet
but the basic structure is I think! Kinda bland with only wood, so I'll probably add brick or birch
or something to make it look prettier later.
This is actually way on the other side of the house, where the doors are right now. One of those
was my first cave! I'll put an actual front door onto the house itself once I figure out its
layout. Let's take the lower door inside.
This is where my work stuff all is right now. Furnaces, workbench, and chests. I made an infinite
spring there in front of me (not that you can see it due to my fat head). The left tunnel takes
you down my long mining staircase thing while the right takes you up into the house. I'll go left
first.
This stairwell goes all the way down to bedrock! Only hit one natural cavern the whole way
unfortunately, which is actually over to the right in the picture.
This is the bottom of the stairwell, and this is my impossibly long tunnel I made. I was just
kinda rooting around for lava and diamond.
The tunnel stops when I hit lava there. It goes pretty high up so I just kinda gave up on this
tunnel. Over to the left though leads up to the tiny obsidian farm I made.
You just made a 2x2 pit, fill it with lava from the source over on the right so it's all still,
then put a thing of water from a bucket on one of the raised corners to get running water to
hit still lava. Boom! Instant obsidian. Slow, but guaranteed at least.
Anyway, back to the real attraction, my house! Going back up the stairs and going to the right
this time leads to the upper door you could barely see in picture 2 and a ladder leading up into
the first floor of the house.
Up the ladder is the first floor. As you can see it's a pretty irregularly-shaped house, so I need
to figure out the layout of rooms and stuff before I start laying actual furniture and decorations
about. Will also probably rip up this stone for some carpet or hardwood floors or something.
There was a natural spring on top of the hill that I just decided to build around! It's kinda like
a natural bath spa thingy! Also has a sunroof over it.
Anyway, let's climb up the tower. By the way, this is the view up the ladder from the first floor!
Second floor! There isn't as much lighting so I went right over to the sunroof/floor. As you can
also see, I decided to put rafters up there! Why? I dunno, I thought it was a neat idea. Also going
to hang some glowstone lamps from them, too, maybe!
One more ladder section and you can get onto the roof! Dunno if I'll actually put anything up here.
Standing on top of the sunroof lets you not only see the great view of that cliff I was standing on
in the first image but also peek on all the bathers down below! :3
Now let's go climb up that silly-looking observation tower thing. Will probably round out the bottom
of it later... ssssomehow.
This is the inside of that big observation deck thing in the middle of the tower. Pretty big open
space in here, dunno what I'll use it for.
An okay view, but we can do better.
Climbing up the ladder some more let you get out onto the roof of the observation deck! Can see more
clearly without that glass in the way.
Yep, definitely a better view out here...
...but there's a liiittle more left to go!
Climbing up to the top you come to this... weird little room. I dunno, I was going for some kind of
neat skyscraper sort of topping, like a glass ball or something? I'll be redoing it later into something
cooler. By the way, the upper building limit is only about 5 blocks higher than the top of this tower!
Whoops! Well that took all day apparently.
Finishing off with a shot of the house at night. Thanks for visiting, I'll let you know when I've
updated the house some more! :D
