"Too much Magical power... there are two of them, remember that." Blue reminded Ben as she hopped to the ground. She saw the other clan make their way to the ring, a bunch of tall, dark-skinned vieras with matching armor.

'Just what the hell is Gaz doing' Hyri wondered as he ran out of sight. 'Well I'm sure he has his reasons at least'. She twiddled her spear around. Afew minutes latter the other clan showed up. "I'm sure this will be a fun match". Hyri stood up on the wall. "Well should we make out way everyone".

Ben nodded "Slowga and Hastega." Ben saw the viera and smiled. He had a soft spot for rabbits and seeing how the viera looked half rabbit he couldn't help but smile

Gordan channeled his powers once again in preparation for the up-coming fight. If possible, he wanted to avoid using his Time Drain on these oppenents. He would need to work with Ben and channel both their powers together for their slow spells to take affect on them.

Blue made her way to the center of the ring to await the other clan leader, She turned and motioned the rest of her clan to make their way down as well. "LLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! It is with great pleasure I get to announce the first fight of the Battles of Thirty-two!" Called the announcer as he restarted his routine. He tried his best to hype up the fight as much as possible, but the more elegant introductions weren't pulled out until much later. "On the west side, we have FC Camoa with yet another strong start in our annual tournament!" As he announced them, the clan took it as a cue to take to the ring themselves. The crowd roared with excitement with their arrival, causing Blue to realize that the crowd's size was not exactly a good thing. "Will the young upstarts of Clan Ember in the east side have what it takes to out-dual one of last year's semi-finalists? We will see!" A couple of cheers arose at their name, but a modest ovation compared to their opponents.

"Lets start this." Blue muttered, pulling her judge card out earlier than required. FC Camoa took a few moments to get ready, before sending its representative over to shake hands with her. Like last time, they both dropped their cards in unison, creating an instant light show that awed the crowd as their judges arrived at the scene. Blue made her way to the rest of her clan to await the announcer's countdown.

Ban began channelling his magickal energy. It had been a while since he'd had to use time magicks "Ready Jelly?" He asked "Gordan can you cast haste on me to speed up my slowga? I need to preform a chant to cast it and my chant may take some time."

Gordan performed the spell, assisting Ben with his spell by casting haste.

Hyri jumped off the wall into the ring landing the drop which would cause others jaws to shutter. She detached her helm from her belt and placed it on under her hat. Excitement coursed through her body. "Hehe they'll wish they never joined this tournament once I'm finished with them". Hyri said as she walked up to the others positions.

Blue tensed her grip on the new weapon that Ben had given her, it was cold. The weight of it was surprising, she felt as if she was wielding nothing, even without her air magic helping her. She looked to Hyri who seemed eager to fight as well. "See that red-haired Viera with the fancy looking foil? That's a Gupti Aga... don't EVER get hit by it" She advised. "I'll take the one with the Stinger"

"Fighters! Prepare to fight in 10! 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." Counted down their announcer. Blue picked out her target quickly, one of the taller fencers with the aforementioned weapon. Jelly awkwardly drew his sword as the announcer called the fight. "Fight!"

Ben began reciting the chant for slowga. It took a few seconds but when he was finished he saw all but one of the Viera stay the same speed. The one that slowed down was one of the twins he saw. She seemed to be moving at half speed compared to every one else. He had to recite the chant twice more before effecting the other viera twin. Ben used the rest of his magickal power to cast hastega on their clan. The spell missed every one but Gordan, Jelly, and Blue.

Blue charged her enemy, keeping in close proximity with Atticus. She quickly found her opponent in the field and swung in her direction, forcing the viera to quickly dodge the air render. The fencer dodged eloquently before striking back with her poison-tipped foil. Even with haste, Blue had to be careful with her opponent. She backed off, throwing another air-render to keep her opponent moving. She was a lot quicker than the Templar from before, meaning that Blue was not going to be able to cheat on the inside like last time. The fighter charged her opponent before she could recover and hit her with the hilt of her blade, sending themselves into a flurry of parrying, dodging, and blocks. Her opponent had a traditional Fencer style, meaning that all Blue needed to do was keep her off balance, and break her out of her stances. Blue felt herself get the upper hand until the Fencer jumped back and countered. Blue dodged and did the same, sending air-renders to get her moving again.

"I'll take the one with the funny named weapon". Hyri singled out the Viera with the Gupti Aga, pointing her spear at her. Her spear had the longest reach, so she was best suited for fighting against such a foe. The Viera she had singled out charged across the field. Hyri met her half way. The Viera thrust her foil at her with a speed she'd never seen. With just milliseconds to spare she was able to evade the attack. Multiple times her enemy tried and failed to hit her, but Hyri couldn't even get an attack in. 'I need to get on the offensive soon or she's gona hit me with that thing'.

Gordan assisted Ben with casting Haste and slow on their group and the enemy, powered by Haste himself, he casted faster than ever before. However, their opponents seemed to not be affected at all. They just kept on moving, no matter how powerful the slow was put on them.

Even if was to use his Time Drain ability, it would most likely have little effect on their speed and stamina. These Fencers were trained for rapid attacks.
"Must be a weakness somewhere..." he muttered to himself, casting slow once again on the enemy. He noted that even under the effect, they move swiftly.

But what if they were to be empowered by Haste? Too much speed might push them off balance or cause them to be... too quick? It was a theory but...
"Ben! What do you reckon could happen is we caste Haste on our foes?" he called out, casting a fire spell at one of the oppenents, missing them as they darted out of the way.

Ben guzzled down an ether to regain his magickal power "I've no idea. These are the fastest enemies I've encountered." He said as one of the twins struck at him and he parried the attack "Right now I am a little occupied though." Ben charged up and used a shadow blade against the viera
