Snow laughed "Eli I'm flattered you wanna help me but like I've said time and time again, I'm no STALKER"He said wiping the blood off of his face "There's a reason they called me 'Ice' in the military, Major. I showed everyone who got on my nerves my Russian hospitality with liquid nitro like that gun there" Snow looked at Slavoc with the eyes of a killer "Don't cross me and you just might die with all of your head intact" He said. Snow picked up his sack of belongings and guns "I'll team up with you Eli"

The sudden *Crack* sounding below Alex made him freeze in his tracks, watching the crack split the wood he was standing on. he eased to the side and continued, teh *creaking* of the boards making him flinch with every step, until finally his foot landed gingerly with a *thud* he sighed a relieved breath. Wait...thud? he pressed his foot back down around him, finding the hollow spot again. a hidden compartment in the floor. "Now that's what I'm talking about..." he whispered to himself, pulling a big knife from his boot. he drew a clawtip along the edge, the scraping sound similar to metal on metal. he jammed the tip of the blade into the crack he'd made when he'd stepped on it. another crack freed up one of the halves, at least enough that he could get his claws dug into the wood and pried it free. from there is was just a matter of pulling the boards up. a couple boards later, it was clear a steel box had been sitting beneath the floor. a short, wide box, seemingly designed to hold maybe a series of operations data in it. he pulled it out and checked around in the rest of the cavity finding it empty "Damn...looks like gotta do this the hard way" he grinned as he jammed the knife into the lock and twisted the hardened blade. the old rusty lock didn't stand a chance, and broke without much effort at all....much to Alex's dissappointment. "Well...let's see what we've got in here then..." he popped the lid open to find a folder and a small metal case, about the size of a a few index cards that had a hinge like that of a cigar case. he popped it open and found three SD cards nestled neatly into it, no marks or indications as to what was on them or what they had been for. he'd have to plug them into his laptop later on, they weren't the priority for the moment, so he tucked them into a pocket deep inside his jacket for later. now he turned his attention to the green folder. a stamp on it had a government symbol with a 'TOP SECRET' stamp over top of it. he slid his knifes tip through the red seal tape that held the folder shut, and stuck the blade back in his boot before thumbing through the folder. "Helllooooo...what have we here..." he smiled. in the dark only bits and pieces of what the papers were saying was clear, but it was more than enough. he closed the folder, and pulled his laptop from his bag. while he had no intent of using it, it would make a good place to store such documents. he opened the lid, and set the folder between the keyboard and the screen, shutting it and gently putting it back in his bag. he stood back up, glancing around the room, was it possible this wasn't the only hiding spot? he sighed and moved to the nearest picture frame hanging on the wall, tossing it aside in hopes he might find a hidden safe. nothing. he sighed again and looked around the room at the other pictures hanging around the room. "This is gonna be a looooooong night..."

Slavoc wiped the dirt out of his left eye. "Eli are you some sort of western agent, this is east Europe brutality is everywhere. If you ever put any thought into it why would they send in a lone man, hehehahaa". Slavoc began coughing. "Hrahhg, I'm getting to old for this. Fourty- six years. A lone man..... I'll cut short Eli I'm a KGB assassin". He lit up another cigarette. "I'm to kill you, Flash, Sidorovich. Any STALKER, scientist, Duty and Freedom members. All I come across I'm to kill, they want this zone dead. Why I ever decided to help you I don't know. I know right where Sidorovich is, found that out from a contact. I could have killed him by now, or he to me. Why I ever decided to help you, hmm. I don't want to play this game anymore".

Slavoc drew his pistol and shot the two guards through an eye, so they wouldn't tell others of his little speech. "734" Slav re-holstered his gun. He removed the crest on his hat and looked at Eli and Snow, they looked alittle shocked."Yep" Slav placed the crest on the ground and crushed it under his boot. "Fuck the Union, fuck the federation, and to hell with it all". He held back a wave of emotion as to the seriousness of what he had just done. "I'm gona go get my pack I'll be a second, hide those bodies" he said quietly. Slav ran off into the barracks to grab his supplies.

Snow smiled and pulled out some bigger vials "What bodies?" he said as he poured his combination of chemicals on them. The soldiers froze solid and a secret chemical he mixed in made the ice spread from the initial pour site. "That man is killer to the core." He said as he watched the ice spread "However he is quite loyal to Russia. He seemed quite shaken by crushing the symbol over there." Once the ice was done with its job he sighed "Shame they had to die and be put to rest like this." Snow loaded his shot gun and shot both of the frozen men so that they shattered into pieces. Snow had a tear in his eye "Reason number one why I hate the military. The dogs with more power treat the pups like dirt."

Eli looked doubtfull, he knew already he was going to be unstable, but not this much
"i still don't trust him....but we'll need all the help we can get i guess, and he can still bluff us out of this complex"

he walked outside and looked around for Alex, the cold corridors of the building seemed to stretch for miles, though Eli knew how small it actually was from the outside
Each step was a pretty solid thud on the improvised wooden floor, clearly whenever they made this building they had ran out of materials, as most buildings in the zone had concrete floors
it wasn't untill he tripped on a hole there was on the ground that he realised where Alex was, he was looking behind all the old picture frames inside a room, all of them seemed to be pictures of military and random STALKERS

stepping in the room, he said out loud "uhm, Alex....why is there a bloddy hole in the floor?" he knew that couldn't have been just decay or the soldiers tearing that out
the room they were in seemed to be an old office, it's own little desk and all with some random props here and there, already had the decay settled in, with the desk getting a strange and mushy texture in some places, along with rust on anything that was anywhere near metal inside the room

Snow waited for Slavoc to return "I don't like his attitude but his respect for Russia to a certain degree makes me like him." Snow sighed "What am I to do Sarah?" He asked a picture of a little girl that looked much like him "Don't worry. Daddy'll come home soon enough"

Slavoc returned with his pack on his back. He only saw Snow outside. Walking up to Snow he asked. "Where'd Eli go, and the other as well"?

Snow pointed down a hallway "Eli went down there and I didn't know there was another" He said while putting his daughter's picture away. "Hey do you mind if I ask you something slightly personal?" Snow asked

"Hmm?" he turned, still holding one of the picture frames in his hands "Oh, uh...put my foot through it? weak old boards, ya know?" he glanced down the hallway once and rehung the picture on the wall "Look, did that military guy follow you in here?" he checked down the hallway again. Keeping his voice low, he pulled the file folder from his bag "I found something, something whoever ran this place was trying to hide...it's about the source" he held out the folders to Eli, chancing another glance down the hallway

"don't worry...that military guy is a nutcase...i don't believe he will care too much anymore about what we find"
he grabbed the folders off Alex's hand and opened it, taking a quick glance at the files inside, there were pictures, names, and maps, all had places marked with a red marker, and some had names put to them
most photographs seemed to be of a series of tunnels, and underground facilities. They all seemed to be post-incident, and depicted some pretty grim sceneries
one of the pictures made Eli stop for a moment....something in his head snapped, he had seen what the picture showed before, he had BEEN there before...
it was an abandoned industrial facility, a place that could only be accessed through the underground now, a place that only the craziest of STALKERS dared enter
trying to hide his confusion at the scraps of memories he had just gotten back, he said
"...seems like a pretty good lead....." he was interested in looking into that place now, it seemed the closest one to get to, as they only would need to travel north towards the "Garbage" according to the map, it was right past a post that was raided by the bandits, and it was obviously closely linked to whatever they wanted to hide...or find
"Looks like this wasn't in vane after all...come on, Alex, let's talk to the rest, maybe we can get a move on now"
as he walked out of the room, he turned back "Oh...and Alex...keep an eye on Slavoc, if he's coming with us we're all going to need to be triple the aware now"

"No I don't. My career has kept me quite busy, going from one place to another". Slavoc and Snow had made their way to the hole Eli and Alex were in. He dropped his pack on the ground than himself to peer into the room below. "Eli" Slav called out seeing the two. Slav spun himself around on the floor than slipped into the secret room. "What is this place Eli, and who's your friend"?

He hung the picture back on the wall where he'd found it, as the military man entered "Don't worry, as they say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer Eli." he repacked his laptop in his bag, making sure it was locked down from access aside from his own "As I already know who you are, I suppose it is only fair that you know mine as well." he said looking to the newcomer "You can call me Alex. You're standing in instillation 47-B. a Former military complex if everything around us isn't just for show. we thought there might've been something useful down here, but from the looks of things, anything useful that might've been here seems to already have been looted or destroyed" he lied, letting Eli decide if he wished to 'share' the information they'd found "Unless you feel like rooting through empty desks, I'd suggest we be on our way"

"By the way you talk your one of the scientists... Alex". Slavoc took a good look around the room from where he stood. Everything was already turned over. One thing he had noticed when he came down was that Alex was packing up his laptop bag. With no reason for him to use the computer it was obvious he had put something into the bag. "It seems you have already cleaned this place out". Slavoc turned around he couldn't help let go a large smirk. Alex and Eli couldn't see it though since he was facing their opposite way. He cleared his face back to its almost expressionless form, "Let be off, like you said". Slavoc climbed out of the hole, he hoisted his pack by the straps on his back and waited for the others to come up. 'I don't know if I'm working with professionals or the sorriest sack of losers this place has to offer' he thought.
