I've done some marijuana here and there, been drunk, AND have smoked cigs. most of everything else i have no real intention of touching. i mean, i live in a part of the state where Meth is common.... gross.

No, I personally don't do or like any kind of drug/alcohol. Drunks are loud, stupid and annoying...Well, most of them, not all. I have nothing against anyone who Smokes pot/dope, shouldn't even be considered a real drug, just makes you lazy and uncaring...Other than that..."Drugs Are Badm M'Kay." Hehehe, couldn't help the South Park reference.

I have a no drugs policy and I intend to keep it. Mind you, I don't really live in a messed up area where drugs are common. My friend used to have neighbours who smoked marijuana. I went over his place once and you could tell that the neighbours were smoking it because of the smell that was coming from their house. They eventually got busted by the police for possesion of the drug. Go the Australian police force whoo!

Anyway, my thoughts on drugs (including alcohol) are as follows:

Lets see... I'll drink alcohol on occasion. Sometimes more often than others. Gotta love Captain Morgan private stock. Also German beer is good. Hmm.. also I'll smoke on really rare occasions. As for the stuff thats illegal.. haven't tried it. Also, starting a thread asking if you've used that stuff (illegal drugs) is basically setting some people up to get themselves into trouble, since you're basically incriminating yourself by admitting you use any of that here. Stuff posted on the internets has a way of being seen by people you'd rather didn't see it, and its also forever. So far almost everyone's said they don't use anything, probably because a large portion of the population here isn't even old enough to buy a pack of cigarettes in most countries, and I'd advise anyone who posts after me to keep it to the legal stuff in your locality. Don't want to be getting QD in trouble for having a discussion about illegal drug use take place on his forum. >.>

I have an aversion to drugs.

I'm so disdainful of drugs that some types of medication I'm reluctant to take.

I don't drink or smoke either. Mainly because of experiences related to my father and when he drank. Mind you, he wasn't a bad person or a violent drunk or anything like that. It was some of the stupid things he did while drunk which drove me off from drinking basically. It makes me just only one of three males over 18 in my extended family that doesn't drink.

I think that Alcohol in moderation can be kinda fun, but drugs, It might just be based on my experiences but my brother can't remember anything past 2 weeks ago cause he's completely addicted to several drugs, and that doesn't seem like any fun to me at all....

My thoughts exactly! I have some sort of moral objection to drinking, smoking and drugs. My mother keeps making fun of me for not wanting to drink.

I enjoy alcohol, I don't overdo it though, I usually have a pint a night, and that's it, maybe two on the odd occasion.

Smoking and Drugs, definatly not for me, though I have no problems with those who do it, quite a few people I'd consider friends I know do weed quite regularly, so that's fine.

On a slightly different note, what do you guys think of the argument to legalize drugs? It doesn't sound like the perfect idea, I can definatly see flaws, but there's a lot of positives as well imo, such as the illegal drugs trade, and violence and gang/organized crime activity behind it eradicated completely, which can surely only be a good thing, there's countless horrors that occur purely because of the illegal drug trade.
