I can't stop laughing at the lion. Cute and goofy at the same time!
Women live 6 years longer than men. Those women so earnest about equality should consider extending it to the mortality rates. -Dr. Richard Gordon

From Thinning The Herd:
Famed Baritone Leonard Warren suffered a stroke and collapsed on stage at the New York Metropolitan Opera in 1960. The opera was La forza del destino (The Force of Destiny). The last line he sang was, "Morir? Tremenda cosa." ("To die? A wondrous thing.")

Or maybe he's just messing with Kale. Kale makes a comment about people eating him, so Bruce bites him.

Man that is one cute Lion Dude.
It seems like Bruce bit Kale just to see if he was bathed in barbecue sauce.

The word you're thinking of is "artist".

The lion is awesome and adorable. You should right away come up with a bio, name, spinoff comic, and supremely succesful line of plush toys based on him.

Or, seeing as Immy already HAS a comic, he could just insert him as a one-off character in an installment of Concession.

The word you are looking for is modest.

no, i agree in thinking the word is artist
i challenge anyone to find an artist that actually LIKES their work more than 5% of the time. (5% cause you know there are those times when you make something exceptional)
There are very few if any.
Especially since, if an artist is happy with his or her work all the time, he or she ceases to improve. Is improvement not the goal of an artist?
Especially since perfection is impossible, do you not always have room to improve?
