RP Idea topic

Some SCPs will be at the base, others will be at other bases and many will need to be captured.

That said, with SCP-50 being relatively safe despite being Euclid class... I guess I'll pass it.

Since we're up to two, I'll set up an OOC later with a sign up form.

If I were to start chapter 2 of Heroes and Villains would anyone be willing to join in on it?

Apologies for my absence on this matter, life's been rather busy as of late, I'll jump on and pound out the wrap up to the current chapter tonight and get that up and moving again, and if I recall correctly, I think shade was taking the reigns on that one next, but I'm not entirely sure of that's still the case...either way, I'm happy to work with another as lead, I just don't have anything planned for the immediate chapter, my stuff'll be leaked in as we continue

That is perfectly fine with me, this time around I actually have plans for a general antagonist that generally does more and tries to go after EVERYONE instead of just a select few. Also there will be a second incident in which more individuals are exposed to the same substance that gave us our powers. It will occur within a crowded mall, I have no plans for who actually did it, weather or not it was a terrorist act or some freak accident will be left for you guys to determine, or if there is a general antagonist that some one wants to set up for that one they are more then welcome to do so. And to answer redwolfmoon99's question, it will be a continuation. I set up the whole second incident thing primarily so that others may join. So since we have more then enough people I will set up the OOC after I finish work.

I am glad you've got a second chapter in mind already, I was just planning to drop pieces and hits about the neosuns/Kane/King story line during the next chapter, or two depending on how well the next chapter goes or doesn't...but the one single flaw I see with your design, is the 'generic antagonist' bit. creating a villain simply to battle the good guys is going to create a stale atmosphere very quickly, because all it becomes is a serial killer insane/maniac villain, which isn't bad, but in an active styled RP, it's not quite appropriate because it creates constant battle and no room to breathe or keep an interest as to something 'happening' more than some psycho path trying to kill you

you need a villain with a goal, even if it's something so simple as robbing every bank in town, I wouldn't suggest that, but it would work...you need one that has some end game in mind, a goal and not just going after heroes for the sake of a battle, even the joker had an endgame and a purpose in mind and all he did was pretty much kill people...but that's a few -dozen-levels above anyone here's writing level, including myself. all I'm trying to say, is have some purpose, set the heroes up to try to stop him/her rather than the villain simply headhunting for the helluv it

I tried to accommodate the various players with combatants to balance against them, minions to cause some chaos while the larger pieces fell into place, but it proved rather challenging when players dropped in and out on a regular basis, not to mention the long times between posts, which I will admit, is a good part my fault as well, but challenging none the less

I actually did have something in mind for this one, it was going to be a female with mind control powers and a massive popularity complex. The idea I had was that she was going to take the minds of men one by one and go for the whole domination over others type of thing. I also had a scene planed in which Kevin got hijacked and Alice then had to knock him out to snap him out of it. But none the less I do thank you and appreciate the advice Buzz.

Ok, so sitting here bored, I have a few ideas for rps

1- A league of legends based rp where players can either act as summoners or champions. Equal action and storyline rp where the summoners begin to find things out about the Institute of War and its flaws, being constantly hounded by Institute officials hell bent on destroying our wayward heroes. Players playing as champions will be the majority of the action side as you fight for glory and your personal goals, may play champions from the League of Legends game or craft your own.

2- Adventure/Character growth rp where players follow a series of signs through a fantasy setting to find a pair of strange people that appeared shortly after a sign in the sky. Story will be more about how your character grows and/or changes through the rp.


3- School setting... for monsters! With a world rapidly filling with humans, players are caught up in trying to fit in with the human world and answering the call of their true ancestry. May be willing to allow more advanced players to play humans accidentally enrolled in the school, but that's a BIG maybe. On top of this inner struggle, players will find themselves challenged on whether they believe the human race is worth letting live, or just food.

I would love the League of Legends one. the school for monsters reminds me of an anime...

It's actually ironic you should mention a soul eater RP...I literally -just- finished watching that series like, last week or so...I'm down for it if ya get enough, I'm doing all new characters though, any older characters'll just be cameo (if that) unless otherwise requested
