I begin to see why they say they have to kill him.

He represents the animal part of him that used to be, but now is no longer a part of his external form. And listening to Hugo, they want Kale to be fully human. But this manifestation prevents him from being so.

It is interesting that you bring out the idea that furries are somehow inferior to humans, simply because of the human ability to tolerate and investigate.

I was thinking about that, too. But I still keep thinking about how killing him could affect Kale's mind.

I also noticed the furry thing, too. I found it kinda funny, actually. Considering Hugo's a furry. I think most of what Hugo said (or why) may have just been to calm Kale down.

Now that I think about it, another reason they want to kill the old Kale is that he poses a threat to them (the ones that changed him). Remember, he's looking for revenge, and he can also take control of Kale's body now, too.
