I'm looking to start a High-School themed RP, of course, involving furries and humans instead of the average human-based theme.

What am I looking for? Great posts that have a good, consistent length and multiple partners. Me and someone else can't run teachers and everything right? Maybe a bit of romance involved.. who knows?

Anyways, post in the thread for more info! the more players, the merrier!

Hey, good to see some interest in some new blood RP! but I'm afraid you're not gonna get much attention without refining this RP a bit more, as much fun as spontaneous randomness is, it's kinda a vague idea, and not likely to generate interest, at least not around here.

give an idea of what's happening, maybe some events or a schedule of some kind. something to draw attention and show that there is something more than simply running characters into each other for the sake of posting

Expand on the Highschool theme, but be warned, we've had a couple of those in the past bounce about from being success, to being a total failure...it very well may be why no ones touched this yet as well. my advice is to take a look at some of the successful RP's and model off those, even if you want it to be loose and random, you're still gonna need some mild structure to keep some kinda sense to what's what

Well you did specify a solid point. Yet through my years of RPing I have foudn that the more specific I get, the less likely people are to join. So I am starting this one off as flexible as possible to ensure many will join. Most of teh story is highly available for debate. And if nobody wants to join and this thread dies, I will start again.. though more thorough.

However, thank you for the concern. But.. I want to give it maybe a week tops to see if anyone joins. It hasn't died yet!

And also: Future Note.
In the future I will post various different RP theories that will be highly specific, and may not be so specific. Depends on what sort of RP. This High School furry RP is general because a lot can be fun, and not so fun. So.. Yeah, post your thoughts on it

I say it only because around here, the trend is pretty much the opposite of what you're appearantly used to...Players want to see that the GM has something planned out and it's not just going to be bumbling about till it faceplants a few pages in...we've had a number of those that were new forumites trying either Modding for the first time, or even strait up just RPing for the first time and trying to just throw an idea out and never have anything to back it up, or the mod ends up vanishing a week into it
