Name: Xantidus Okuwa
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Species: Anthro
Weapon of choice: Shotgun that fires coin shaped pellets in a scatter shot
Appearance: He's about five feet nine inches with a slightly muscular build and medium length brown hair with a blonde streak in his bangs. He his a grey husky/arctic fox mix with the body of a husky but the tail and ears if an arctic fox. His eyes are almost a golden color. When in civilian clothes he wears athletic sneakers with black pants although his left leg is torn off at the knee. He wears a black t-shirt that has a white hood sewn into it. when in operations he wears a black combat vest with several pouches for varying purposes and his special shotgun shells strapped to it for quick reloading his shotgun at all times, the Institute's symbol sewed on the right long sleeve of his dull red undershirt, he wears thick jeans along with this set.
Biography: Xantidus is of both English and Japanese decent, being born and raised in the institute due to an affair between researcher and a lab assistant. As he grew up he met and befriended Eli and began training with him, despite his mother's detest. He had a slightly higher level of intellect which made his mother want him in the R&D department but he just couldn't sit still long enough to actually sit down and solve all of the complex formulas and would rather be out in the field. He was accepted into the broken sunrise program with Eli for his ability to strategize quite quickly and for his ability to make the best out of what he was given to work with, despite the odds.

Right...we have more than enough people now, i'll be posting in the IC soon enough (i just got back from an exam at my university, so yeah.)

EDIT: Allright, i'm working on the IC post now, a quick reminder for everyone, the data logs are optional to see, and only use them if you want a deeper insight onto what's going on (such as race details and weapon/location stuff, it's mainly for people who haven't played the game or aren't clear on the little details)

Name: Shade Meffarius Leshyr
Age: 19
Sex: Male-dominate Herm (no boobs and mostly masculine)
Species: Vulpine
Weapon of choice: Sniper Rifle
Appearance: Shade is covered in black fur from head to toe, offset by his intensely, ice blue eyes. He usually wears a light under armor under a few pieces of armor across his most vital areas, including his chest, back, shins, thighs, biceps, forearms and groin. His civilian clothing usually consists of cargo jeans and a tee shirt.
Biography: Shade was born as a country boy, working in fields as soon as he was able to perform a task. While most don't know it, a genetic defect in Shade's genes caused his body to not fully make the change between male and female that most fetuses do. The combating estrogen and testosterone in Shade's body made the young herm-boy outgoing and determined. The daily duties toned the young vulpine for his PE classes in school. Every challenge seemed to excite Shade, making him more and more eager as they got harder. His biggest challenge, however, is when his two older brothers took him out to a shooting range to shoot at targets. Shade surprised his brothers by exhibiting a natural talent for nailing targets, even with open sights. This particular talent invoked the interest of the Institute.

Manipulating the various agencies, the Institute passively pushed Shade into sharpshooting activities which the young vulpine did with zeal, every long range weapon in the book became his arm. The Institute recruited him as soon as they could...

you forgot the civilian/undercover clothes detail, other than that, i'd just say put a little bit more detail into the herm thing, it sounds a bit confusing from my end o.o

and it's good we finally have a sniper, we already have 2 people with shotguns xD

You know you don't see very many Herm characters in RP's.

Im sorry, but this is utterly bugging the shit outta me...stryke, there are four serrrious problems with that shotgun you've just built yourself there, first off being that you just converted a pump to an auto, you quite literally need an entirely new gun to be able to do that, with the way the mechanics of the shotgun work, it simply isn't a feasible feat, second is the double barrel automatic, that simply doesn't exist, custom or standard. The forward grip would be nearly six inches wide, and would weight as much as a pair of shotguns strapped together because of the number of internal components, it would make it nearly impossible to aim with any kind of accuracy. Next is the little lighter thing youve set up on the end of the barrel, not only is that horribly dangerous to the user more than the enemy, it's completely useless. That container of lighterfluid would have a serious chance of rupturing because of how hot the barrel of a shotgun gets, and the little flame at the end? Useless. Why? Because it really has no use, bullets coming out of the end of that barrel are going so fast, they'd be more likely to put the flame out then get heated from it. Also, shotguns are not armor piercing weapons, they're close combat with high stopping power. A flame on the end isn't going to do any good considering if you've got a good shotgun already, it pretty much shoots flames out the end anyway...it's pretty cool to watch at night.

Sorry, but nothing about that weapon struck me as being feasible...my suggestion, go with a double barrel if you want power, they're notoriously more powerful than autos because all of the e plosive force is transferred out through the shells, unfortunately it means you'll have to breach load after every two shots. Autos have the advantage of more rounds and less kick, but a certain level less of stopping power because some of the recoil is transferred through the slide to eject and load a new shell.

I would personally go with auto, simply because in a combat situation, the time it would take to breach and reload every two shots coils very well mean the difference between life and death.

Final call, of course, goes to Eian if there's any sort of controversy over that shotgun...just bugged the he'll outta me being into shotguns myself...^^;

That's ok buzz, i didn't actually get to see the original design of the shotgun itself so it's good that you pointed it out.

A quick heads up by the way people, i'm going to have my exams next week so the start of this RP might be slow for a bit, but don't worry it's not that i run out of ideas super quick or anything, i just have to take time between studying stuff as big as Neurobiology and epistemology before i even begin writing down the post, the Log data's (wich i've realised i will have to create quite a few probably) and maybe the little audio detail i added on the first post >.<

(by the way, did anyone actually like those details? it's the first time i see them being used apart from that old phoenix wright RP Bananas did a year or so ago)
