''Yeah, it was good. I had to hold my laugh in when I got that rabbit out of my bag. You guys looked like I was gonna pull a human head out of the bag.'' Jack looked around saw he was the only one not laying down. ''I am gonna take the first watch tonight. These lands have not become any safer since the disappearance of Ganon. I have seen many monsters in the deserts, just wondering without goal. Now, who is gonna take the second shift?'' It was now completely silent, but monsters can travel in a few hours quite far.

Ruto offered a weary affirmative at Jack's request. "I'm out here anyways," She called out from atop the roof of the crumbling structure, Ruto's hookshot once again being useful. "Wake me up when you are going to bed." She requested before promptly laying down on the hard roof.The night passed quickly without incident as each person took turns keeping watch. As morning approached, Ruto was rudely awakened by the betrayal of the sun to the tune of a stiff neck and sore back muscles. Stretching herself out, she looked out into the fields, the castle in plain view. They would be able to reach it by morning's end if they were quick about it, but it was not the bridge that she would seek passage through. She might have made it through Lake Hylia with brute force, but if they were to press on into the city, they needed to descend into the sewers, which also meant crossing the mighty gorge that the castle was founded on. It was the hookshot that was the key to their safe passage.

"Well gentle men this is wear we part ways. There should hopefully be some work down at lake Hylia for me." Kevin said as he finished packing his bags "besisds I'd your actually a spy it would be a good idea to get away from you before my face ends up on a wanted poster." Kevin thought to himself as he began to walk away "todalu govna."

Ruto scowled at the revelation. She didn't like a loose mouth roaming the land, but she wasn't too interested in forcibly keeping the Hylian with her. If he wanted to leave, fine. If he wanted to warn others of her coming, that was fine as well, it wasn't like she was planning on staying there for long. She did, however, wonder what was Jack's opinion on this new situation. She eyed the Bulbin as she packed her own things onto the horse that she would be undoubtedly leaving behind at the gorge.

"I'm surprised I avent got attacked by them yet. I mean it only would make sense for them to try an kill me since I figured out their spys. Although I wonder if that sora girl will be ok. Well I certinly hope the old man with the cannon on lake Hylia has some work for me." Kevin thought to himself as he wandered farther from the group.

''You know, I can still hit him from here. He will never know what hit them, but I am not certain if I should do it. I do trust him, if only a little. He killed fellow Hylians. For me, that counts. If he rats us out, then we can get him back.'' He said while packing the war boar. He knew that killing him might be a loss of an valuable ally. That Hylian could save us if we got in trouble. Also, how would they get into the city? Walking through the front gates is suicide. He has been here before, on other escort-missions. And even just after Ganon he was in an army that had made it all the way to here, they had lost the battle for the iciy though and were forced to retreat. Jack turned around and looked at Ruto. ''What do you think, and how are we gonna get into the city?''.

Yve sat back and watch the group. "You heading for the city? i'll probably head for the lake, i'm not allowed in the city. . ."

As the group dwindled to just the two, Ruto felt that the journey was already running into hitches, even when they weren't even a part of the original plan to begin with. "What do you think? How are we going to get into the city in the first place?" Jack asked her as he studied the distance of their departed comrades. Ruto brushed herself off before getting on her horse.

"Answering the first question, just let them go. There will be no harm done if the Hylian blabs." Ruto laughed off the thought, she knew that the possibility of him even telling in the first place was most likely low. "The second question... I must answer in the form of yet another question." Ruto smiled playfully. It wasn't an uncommon fear by any means, "Are you afraid of heights?" She asked in response.

''Afraid of heights? No, although I dislike it for it is too dangerous. Too much risk of falling down and killing myself by accident'' He said. He didn't like what she said. He didn't like it at all. He wasn't really scared of heights, he was more scared by the thought of falling to death. And death was what he feared the most. Leaving a world that he knew and kinda understood for something new and unknown. No, he didn't like death at all.

Kevin made his way down the road towers lake Hylia hopping for a safe and easy journey, but much to his displeasure he was attacked by strange plant like creatures, with great snapping maws and razor sharp teath, they were connected to the ground by hardy looking vines (I can't remember the name of these creatures but their in ocarina of time.)

Although Kevin managed to kill them he received a rather nasty bite on his forearm "Ah bloody ell at this rate I won't be able to use me shield arm! (Kevin was left handed) he should get this fing disenfected as soon as possible" just then he notticed that the vines on the creatures had solidified into hard wood. "hmmm well I think I know how I'm Gina catch dinner tonight."

Ruto saw the look in Jack's eyes and cracked a smile. "Well, I doubt you'd get far in the city. Escort me to the gap that separates the castle and Hyrule Field, there's a nice little sewer outflow not too far west of the main gate." She replied, holding up the hookshot. For her, it was a simple maneuver, but for Jack, it was going to be quite the ride indeed.

''Oh god. We are going on the rooftops isn't it? Please say that it is not so?'' He asked kinda desperately. He was hoping really bad that he didn't have to go on the rooftops. One is his brothers fell off a roof and died. It was pretty stupid from him to climb on a building, but still. Buildngs are not meant to be walked on and so are dangerous from above.

"Oh, but on the contrary, it'll be quite the opposite my friend." Ruto shot back. She couldn't afford to have the bulbin running around above the surface stirring up trouble, assuming he wasn't shot on sight. "You'll find out when we get there." She added before setting off to their destination. After about a quarter day's worth of travel avoiding the main roads and scaring the living daylights out of the rural folk (mostly Jack's fault), they arrived at the much discussed meeting point. In front of them stood the massive, impenetrable walls of Castle Town. Even before that, however laid the massive gorge that ran all the way from Eldin, wrapped itself around the castle, and stretched all the way to Kakariko Village.

Ruto looked down at the massive drop. Falling down meant almost certain death, assuming one didn't die on impact, they would then be carried off by the incredibly strong current of the river below. What was of interest in this majestic view, was very un-majestic indeed. She spotted their entry point into the town. "There, that's one of the sewer outlets." She pointed "The massive network of underground sewers and passages will allow me to carry out my mission without even reaching the surface." Ruto mused as she took out the hookshot. They were going to leave their animals behind for some time, but not long enough where any long term solution to their well-being was concerned. "Come on, grab my waist and don't let go for anything." Ruto offered before standing dangerously close to the cliff. She pointed the hookshot at the grate above the outlet.

Kevin had finally reached lake Hylia (but not without taking care of his new injury first.) Along the way he sharpend the deku sticks he got into wooden spears of sorts. "Outa catch me dinner tonight." he thought to himself "Shame that zora girl didnt decide to tag along with me. She coulda caught the fish with these. An I coulda made a fine sew fee the both of us. Aww well I'll jus av to do it the ard way" he thought to himself the waters edge at his feet.

He held tightly to her and and flew over the gap. He shut his eyes and kept saying to himself ''Don't look, don't look don't look don't look''. It must have only taken a second or two, but it felt for him as forever. Finally they had crossed the gap and were standing in the opening leading to the sewer maze. He then noticed he was still holding her waist with one arm, and then quickly removed the arm with an awkward grin. He turned away and looked at the darkness ahead of him so he wouldn't have to talk to her.

It was absolute darkness in there, though he thought that he saw some glimmering eyes in the distance. He ignited his torch and the eyes were gone. '' I could have sworn I saw something'' He mumbled into himself.
He turned to face Ruto, and asked; "Are there any hostiles of any mind here?''
