How did you develop your Fursona?

allo all ^_^ Woo! first topic! HUR!

anyway to the question at hand. I am having a bit of a Furry Identity Crisis. Basicly am wondering on any tips you can give me on how to further develop myself? flesh me out so to speak. I feel so generic.

I've been thinking of redoing my entire Fursona, but I don't even know where to begin.

here is a little rundown of my self.

Name: Milo Innes
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Species: Rabbit (Harlequin)
Accessories: Glasses, Headphones/iPod, Notebook/pen, Random Toys.
Fur pattern: See below



where to go from here? personality wise, he was the generic happy, high energy rabbit that wanted to get laid. but now that I've had him for a few years, I don't really fit that anymore. I also don't want to abandon him either. the other thing is that I don't think i'm interesting enough to make him just a copy of me. (it's no fun playing yourself really. playing with yourself is another story altogether ).

so any pointers would be great on how to adapt my old self into my new self. thanks guys <3

well ya see the way i figured out my "true" fursona par say is through, constant thinking of one self, ilike to cuddle and play around like a dog...i like to talk alot...like a puppy x3 my native animal is the wolf, and because i love anything Kawaii, my fursona see avatar (and yes i did draw that!) is a wolf cub by the adorable name of Sakura Azimaruu!!!! now that im into the whole emo/scene kid scene my puppy tends to look it too, if you notice he's wearing an "emo puppy" shirt from Trivium! ( a gothic punk emo store here in Canada!) and cuz im sort of girlish he happens to every now and again get caught in a dress or skirt or his usual hairband!

If you dont think you're interesting enough, then exaggerate. Look at any character from a sitcom, for example; Dr. Cox from Scrubs is ridiculously sarcastic, Cartman is thickheaded and egotistical (sorry for the negative examples ). Campy from the comic is border-line narcoleptic. Find a quality that you may posses (no mater how little) or insert one that you like.

Oh, and you dont need to get rid of his old qualities...just adapt them or put them more in the background.

Haven't actually drawn a fursona yet but I blame stunky/skuntank and Dragon half for my idea of being a skunk half because the furry fandom can't really compete at how much free time I spent watching anime and looking at ecchi.

okay thanks guys ^_^ this is a big help. I was actually able to scribble out a revised image of my fursona and I think between that and what you guys have said I should be able to piece myself together thanks a lot guys :3
