I read Coming Up Violet... kinda didn't put them up cause my reasoning was that there's only one human in it and he's a werewolf of some sort...

Well, he was in Fur Will Fly, and he wasn't a werewolf at first. He was a human from Earth, and FWF is like a furry dimension of Earth (not a unique scenario, but, yeah). Also, in Coming Up Violet, there is a human woman that ended up in this world too.... So I gotta count both of them. It's a character archetype that I have seen in several genres.

EGS currently has a link to what appears to be a new comic that fits into category 2:

Interesting. Not much yet to tell the angle. If this dog is a lone animal like that, or if all animals are, etc... So far it seems that the dog would be in the "role of a dog", but I'll keep an eye on this on.

Side note, I've never read Ozy and Millie :P

Oh, I just remembered a comic that fits in the final category: in the Inherit the Earth webcomic, the characters just can't figure out the remnants of human technology they find. (After some thought I think Kevin and Kell might need to be moved to that category as well; there are no humans in Domain now, unless you count those two, but there was a human civilization "long ago in a galaxy far, far away"... and some characters were directly motivated by the fall of that civilization.)

http://blacktapestries.comicgenesis.com/ and sister comic http://kaerwyn.comicgenesis.com/

both dead, and Kaerwyn in particular is missing early issues of the series....Kaerwyn is continuation of Black Tapestries. An assasin with a heart of gold is turned into a werefox by her on again off again abusive boyfriend Issac...later, much later the assasin becomes a snake, a werewolf, a full blooded fox, finally she gets gets infected with borg like nanotechnology, which leads to a one sided romance with a starship captain...oh wait that was the part the author deleted.

I really like FW, I'm going to add it to my links

Black Tapestries was the very first webcomic I ever read, way back when I was a total Internet newbie. I kind of lost track of it, though.

I might as well throw in this one - though it's in general more Funny Animal, some of the characters are more anthropomorphized. It's called Zoology.

I've been starting to go through a bunch of comics that I bookmarked a long time ago but never got around to reading. I can guarantee that a sizable number of them are furry, so I'll make some recommendations once I've read through them.
Women live 6 years longer than men. Those women so earnest about equality should consider extending it to the mortality rates. -Dr. Richard Gordon

From Thinning The Herd:
Famed Baritone Leonard Warren suffered a stroke and collapsed on stage at the New York Metropolitan Opera in 1960. The opera was La forza del destino (The Force of Destiny). The last line he sang was, "Morir? Tremenda cosa." ("To die? A wondrous thing.")
