Germany to ban violent video games.

Germany to ban violent video games (click the words)

They also tried to ban paintball awhile back.

All this over a 17 year old school shooter who was fan to FC 2 and CCS.

I feel sorry for the Germans having to put up with that type of bullshit.

Also have a poll.
Your gonna eat me :D Your really gonna eat me :D Yep you are...dang D:

Silly Germany! Don't you remember your history? Now sit in the corner and reflect on this stupid decision until I come back.

... You know, whenever one of these comes up i remember stuff.
Like, the fact that the ERSB rates cursing worse than violence, and for good reason.

Haven't they talked about this for years now though? I really don't think it will happen.

LOL!! This really wont do anything. There'd probably be some kinda revolt or somethin
I've always been the person that liked the sidekicks more
than the hero. Tails and Luigi kick ass, people just dont see it cause theyre focusing on the overinflated egos of sonic and mario

If that happened, it would be the 1930s all over again.

I'd like to see them try. Even if they do there's no way the legislation will stand for that long.

Maybe its because of that kid that germany is doing that! I shall save germany from banning violent video games!

Not really new, in a way. But new in other ways.

I remember late last year/early a debate sparked on the Darkfall forums about it, apparently they were worried that it was going to apply to that game or something like that.

Banning violent games will not really fix problems anyway I believe.

so... they're going to also ban racing games because street racers tend to like GT4?
or ban adventure games, 'cause kids scrape their knees, playing in the woods after a Rayman session?
