I've been known to react in two ways
ONE : for danger situations
go completely blank for a moment, then react to the situation (rage, run, defend myself or others, etc)
TWO: for emotional fear situations
Shake uncontrollably, speech impediment (i talk badly or just cut off), and i try to react to the situation (talk it through, find the solution, etc.)
What do you do when your scared?

I laugh. Plain and simple. No matter what's scaring me, even if it's a life-threatening situation (which I don't really think's all that scarry...) or an emotional/nervous breakdown, I just laugh - for some reason, I can't really control myself... I dunno why...

I'm normally only scared by something life threatening. But then I can't stop laughing and bite real hard into the inside of my cheeks to try and stop.
