Local Weather/Climate

Postby kainoa29 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 2:28 am

Here in SJ its Incredibly hot,dry and windy for all of summer. In Winter it just gets cold enough to make ice on sidewalks but not snow and we have unpredictable rains and windstorms. I wished i lived in San Diego!

I went outside today. It was cold. I was not amused.

Chicago is always balls hot in the summer despite being bitter cold in the winter/spring.

My favorite saying here is: "Hey, it's warm enough to snow!" Which is pretty much perfect in summing up how freaking cold it gets. I shudder to think what happens to Canada in the winter. I assume once you hit Wisconsin, the temperature reaches absolute zero and all molecules cease movement.

Here in the Seattle area summer has finally arrived! Days are actually getting hot (to us), we finally broke the low 70s on Saturday, and it's supposed to hit 80 tomorrow. Now if only it could last more than a few days before the inevitable return of the rain...
What would ya say...ya do here?

We're gettin' an oddly warm block now, fer the middle of winter. Bearable ta be outside without 6 layers.

After a week of rain, we have a blazing heatwave. So hot, in fact, it overcooked my router, and I had to get a new one! South east England, get it together!

Same old scorching heat and blazing sunshine. Nights are humid and damp, and leave'cha sweating like a cow in seconds, days burn you to the bone and leave 'cha cranky and exhausted.

Glorious. :B

My Willie is really, uncomfortable and frilly, as I sit here in her underwear.
