I start up my PS3, log into the forums and the first thing I see is this thread. Yay someone noticed! :D Thanks G. ;)

If anyone's wondering what I got for my B'day, I received the following:

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the PS3 (to replace CoD:WaW, which is my most played game ever)
Mod Nation Racers for the PS3 (I haven't tried it yet, but I really like the customisable aspect of the game)
$30 iTunes card (which I'll spend all on apps for my iPod)
$100

And finally: A small amount of orange-flavoured chocolate :D

Going out for dinner tonight... Should be fun!

As for Arinot's question: In most circumstances I would pick Rachel. However, since she's not been on in a while, I'd say Siru was the longest active member.

Lucky...
My 16th b-day, my dad got me rogaine. I have. Full head of hair.
He ended up using it for himself along with this speech about how birthdays are a western concept.

Rogaine? What's that? *googles Rogaine*

Aww man that sucks! :/ I guess I'm glad I have parents who actually celebrate the concept of birthdays. (to be honest, I think that your father's a douche considering he gave a 16 year-old hair loss treatment when a teenager clearly doesn't need it)

Looking for something awesome, something political or philosophical so I can shine my brilliance~! Anyway, I can yammer on at Length~ To debate, to Listen, to Analyse and re-think. ^.^

Heh, B-days aren't entirely western. Some form of celebration can be found in many cultures, gift giving too.

Yeh birthdays are not a western concept at all. In eastern Europe (for adults) there celebrated with lots of drinking, food, song, tons of family and friends. As well as gifts. Its the same in Ireland and Scotland, or so the tales of my relatives lead me to believe lmao.

And actually comparing to how my family celebrates a birthday, to what I just said. They suck. I want to live it up like my Irish and Scottish relatives.

Eastern Europe is still considered "Western". I was talking about a lot of Asian cultures like Japan and South Korea (Admittedly, they're both western influenced).
