Honestly this doesn't affect furries. Most people who will watch this will be people who liked the book.

And some little kids. Not really people who would cause furries any trouble.

This is a book that got really changed, but retains the plot for the movie. probably more than just what you and i said. doesn't matter though, as I doubt anyone except furries will connect it to the fandom.

^-^. My second point exactly.

Well, I dunno how it's gonna be for furries, but I expect it's gonna be 34'd in a heartbeat.

From Thinning The Herd:
Famed Baritone Leonard Warren suffered a stroke and collapsed on stage at the New York Metropolitan Opera in 1960. The opera was La forza del destino (The Force of Destiny). The last line he sang was, "Morir? Tremenda cosa." ("To die? A wondrous thing.")

I'm inclined to agree. People will watch this and make no connection to the furry community, regardless of what they may think they know about it.

Hell, I watched it and the first thing I noticed was that it had little or nothing to do with furries at all.

As an aside, I'm definately getting the DVD. It'll make a nice gift for my cousin's kids, if they don't mind having a used copy.

Agreed. Probably find some on FA.

Anyone see the movie? How was it?

I've been told by reliable sources (i.e. Immelmann) that it's really, really good and that I supposedly must watch it.

So yeah.

I've been seeing alot about it in the newspapers, and I'm actually thinking about seeing it. Stop-motion is a dying art with all the 3d modeling today.

I thought it was fairly good, though my first thought once it started was "Rule 34 is going to hit this hard"

hmmmm, I think this would have an impact cause people would start with Mr. fox, then to the anthro foxs if they like it, then to the rest of the fandom......maybe, i'd watch it on the internet..
