Too many locked threads!

Postby Fangzthewolf » Mon May 18, 2009 11:02 am

It is really annoying me that people are reviving all these old threads and cluttering them in with new ones. Can we make a board for only locked threads. Something like "Detention" or something along those lines?

Isn't that sort of pointless? I mean, there's always going to be new threads (there's at least two made a day), and those that are a day old are pushed down to the bottom.
I can see what you mean if a thread is like 2 months old, but most that I have seen is barely more than one month old.

Who says I'm annoyed? :?

Why delete a thread, when you can delete the post

There's a potential mod I suppose that I could try to put in that involves letting people know they're posting in a very old thread and that they shouldn't be doing that, but I dunno if I'll be able to do it on my own. @_@ We'll see. For now, I guess, deal with it.

You could maybe put a sticky at the top of the 'current comic' forum that says something to the effect of "Don't post in old threads. Posting in old threads is bad, mmkay?" : P That'd at least be a bandaid for the problem. The people doing it may not realize its not really a good idea.
