Food conflicts?

Have something to say about the comic in general? Found something neat out about it, or want to express theories? Here's the place, kids.

Food conflicts?

So I noticed this wasn't really covered in the new comic.

Do people in the comic take offense to their own feral species being eaten? (Human/mouse doesn't like seeing mice getting eaten by cats)

Actually that's an interesting point. Would someone who was a cow or a bull mind eating a steak or watching others do it? From my own personal observations I would say there isn't any problems within the comic so far, no one seems to have objected thus far in regards to the characters within it.

However the best person to answer this would be Quetza, after he writes the comic.

What do you reckon Quetza?

Kinda covered this sort of already: http://furthiahigh.concessioncomic.com/ ... d=20090227

But no, a cow anthro wouldn't get upset about someone eating steak. I believe the mentality is that any non-anthro animal would be considered a sort of 'step-down' in evolution, per say. They might feel affinity towards their non-anthro brethren, but it's not cannibalism or anything. Besides, these furries are descendants of genetically-modified humans anyhow, so I wouldn't think they'd ever REALLY feel like eating a naturally-evolved cow would be an affront to cow furries everywhere.

I know this is the opposite of what the Old Canon was, but the Old Canon explanation was stupid, completely disregard it.
