Forum PHPBB3 Upgrades

Later tonight I'll be locking the forums down until tomorrow in order to upgrade to phpbb3. The forum won't look much different than the default appearance of a new phpbb3 board (for now at least), but everything should transfer over like post counts and avatars and topics and such. It might also be kinda buggy at first too cause I don't really know PHP and I haven't done any sort of forum editing in maybe 2 years.

Alright, it's 8 in the goddamn morning so I'll make this quick.

I have three mods I still intend to install, which are actually sort of minor and don't hinder or help with anything significant so I can put those off for a day or two. I need to add more options to the Quick Reply box down there like spoiler and youtube links and what-not, update the smileys to not be those ones, a few more updates with the reply stuff... uuuh... overall graphical/color changing (though, I dunno, the blue might work, maybe add a background?)... alter the post and thread layouts a bit like shrinking the area for the avatar and username and such.

But all that can wait til Monday because, goddamn, this thing has just been one thing after another and I desperately need sleep.

If there's problems somewhere, let me know and uh... I'll get to them eventually.

It pretty much looks like the Concession forum now (Due to the same software being used and because Immy helped him out). QD has still got some appearance changes to do if he wants to differentiate it a little from Immy's forum.

...Although, i have a few complaints...

The spoilers are gone... Why? Those things made big signatures smaller and such. If anyone goes on the Phoenix Wright thread now, they'll be spoiled.

I have added some general BBCode, including the Spoiler tag. The cool thing about PhpBB3 is that you can add custom tags.

If your signatures aren't showing up correctly, go into your profile's signature settings and make sure you have BBCode enabled.

Well it looks like the Concession forum because the style he's using and the style I'm using are based on the same original style so to speak. He edited the original style and I edited a style based on the original. :B And actually, the only help I really got from Immy was a list of mods to install and some helpful pointers like backing up my database and basic instructions, the vast majority of this was figured out on my own (gruelingly, most of the time >.o ).

You change stuff in your profile by clicking on "User control panel" and uh... changing stuff. And the green bar is an indicator that a person is online, which I'll probably change in the future.

Scroll all the way to the top of the page, and on the top left corner, you should see a bold link which says "Board index", directly under the Forum's 'logo' - The User Control Panel is directly under that, though it's not in bold and easy to miss if you're not sure where to look. It's also right in front of the 'New Messages' and 'View Your Posts' links.
