I actually have a mate/gilfriend (same person really), and I'm very happy with her. We have had our ups and downs, but we're planning on living together and maybe take the next step when were ready in a few years. I know that being in a relationship means sacrificing your free time, but its worth it when your being with someone you like a lot.

I hear ya. My ex pulled it on me, with someone twice her age. I left town for 5 months after that. Rebuilt myself from the ground up. She apparently liked the new me. She said it wouldn't happen again. I decided to set aside my loathing for her and give her the benefit of the doubt. After all, she was my 1st and only. On the 1 year annivery that she pulled her 1st stunt she does it again. Both times it was with someone I had called a friend. Have you been so angry you get a red haze and tunnel vision? I became self-destructive for months. When you excercise not to improve yourself but to induce pain across your entire body then you know where I was at. Excercising in dead of winter with just a t-shirt. I'd draw elaborate chaos symbols with my friends sewing scissors. Seeking numbing cold just so you can stop being reminded every damn turn of her. You get some interesting poetry out of it, lol.
On the plus side I'm out of that infernal pit and now just see-sawing in and out of depression. Its weird, I love her and hate her at the same time. The hate is much stronger. I still cause trouble where I can. Funny thing is, she wasn't even really a looker. Just a gamer girl that I suddenly connected with.
My question is how do you get them out of your mind completely? I gave up 2.5 years of my life for her. Random crap everywhere brings up things. And I got nobody to take the crap off my mind. Place I live at, I swear, has only 5000 people and anime is a unheard of here. It is country to the core. Almost all my old friends turned out to be shallow dirtbags that would rather not take a side rather than support someone they have known for nearly a decade vs someone who has been around for months and created the damn problem.

but I rant and get nowhere. I guess rule number one is trust no one. Rule number two, truly take nothing for granted. Maybe we are only attracted to the opposite gender's body? The same gender seems to have the more appealing mind. Maybe its because the thought processes are more similar? But than why would both those male "friends" betray me? Input? Before my 14-4g Judge starts talking to me again preferably.

anyway, the first (and only bf/gf , now that i think of it) girlfriend i had, was completely obsessive about talking and texting constantly. especially in the middle of the night. i dont like talking in the middle of the night.

as for me, i'm pretty laid back, so a cheating gf/bf wouldnt really be a problem for me. if they want to be with someone else, that's just fine. especially since, if they're that kind of person, i wont have to deal with it anymore. they're their problem now

I think right now I'm just looking for a good friend to hang out with, play games with, talk with, and maybe an occasional snuggle. Think thats too much a fantasy? I think I'm gonna go mull this over while trying out some new german recipes I found. Torte I think its called. Gonna alter the recipe and add sliced fruit layers. Kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, banana, and apple. Wish me luck!
