Ben sighed "That will be me most likely. I'm the only one here beside's our dragon knight friend who can restrain Blue when you anger her a little to much...Plus I am a natural peace keeper but with those two peace is a little complicated." He said joking

Ben thought for a moment about the upcoming battle "Jelly seeing as how Gaz won't be participating do you think we'll need another healer?"

Bonga chuckled a little bit, "You'll do fine without mr. angsty, most clans go without a healer here anyways." He informed Ben. Getting off the bench he was sitting on, Bonga readjusted his hat, straightened himself out, and moved to leave as well. "If you'll excuse me, I must conduct some... interviews" He told everyone. Bonga stopped for a moment to add something, "Oh yeah, good luck out there. You'll need it..."

Blue scanned the makeshift arenas with vague interest, she wasn't a spectator type herself, it was simply to just get away from that idiot. 'One of those could be our next foe' Blue told herself. Moving from ring to ring, there wasn't any particularly spectacular clans out there which caught her eye, in a way, it comforted her to see that they weren't, in fact, out of their league.

"I know it's nice to have the round of thirty-two bye, but it sure can be boring just sitting around watching everyone fight." Said a woman from further down the street. Despite the loud cheers of the crowd, Blue couldn't help but find it familiar.

"Oh? Whatever happened to the Adelle that didn't want to bother with the fights this year?" Said another familiar voice.

Adelle! Blue realized, trying to pick Clan Gully out from the crowd. She pushed through the crowd to get closer.

"I said nothing of the sort! I just suggested that we opt out of the fights this year to give the other guys a chance! That's all..." Replied Adelle. Blue pushed through people quicker, she was very close.

"Yeah? We- oof!" Grunted Cid as he unknowingly bumped right into Blue.

"Nice going, Cid." Adelle snickered. Blue shook the collision off and looked up at her two idols. The rest of the clan was not with them, perhaps getting lunch. Her jaw dropped at the sight of them.

"I am so sorry, madam." Cid apologized, helping her up to her feet, "I should really be watching where I'm going."

"I- I... ah..." Blue stammered. Adelle grinned as she struggled to say something. "Sorry."

"Starstruck? Now why don't we ever get that kind of reaction from more people?" Adelle complained, stepping past Blue.

"What do you think we are? The Diva sisters?" Cid asked sarcastically, he chased after her, but turned to Blue for a last time, "Truly, I am very sorry." They left her standing in utter disbelief.

Gordan chuckled slightly as Blue stood there stunned. He didn't really care much about Cid.

"Earth to Blue. Come back to us." he called out, walking up to her and using his rod to tap her head slighty. "Wake up."

Ben sighed as he caught the last comment Bonga had said as he knew Jelly had heard it to by the look on his face "Do not listen to his words of disencouragement, I have complete faith in you as both a comerade and a friend." Ben said to comfort him

"Thanks." Jelly told Ben before finishing the last of his food. He produced his short-sword and buckler from his backpack, and set then leaning on the bench. Blue shook the shock of seeing her childhood idols, and in an instant, forgot all about her feud with Gaz. She quickly stormed back the group and made a bold announcement.

"We are going to the final round! We are going to fight Clan Gully!" She proclaimed, "I don't care who we have to face to get there!"

Hyri had just made it back to the group before Blue came rushing in. Her demeanor was completely changed from afew minutes ago. 'Theres the clan spirit she was missing'. Hyri raised her spear "My spear is with you Blue. We will defeat all who try and stop us from our goals".

'Clan Gully...why does that sound familiar' Ben thought to himself "Blue who are Clan Gully? The name sounds familiar but I can not seem to remember where I had heard it." He said still thinking on the subject

Hyri had just made it back to the group before Blue came rushing in. Her demeanor was completely changed from afew minutes ago. 'Theres the clan spirit she was missing'. Hyri raised her spear "My spear is with you Blue. We will defeat all who try and stop us from our goals".

"Amen to that" Blue replied, touching the spear with her own blade.

"Blue who are Clan Gully? The name sounds familiar but I can not seem to remember where I had heard it." Ben asked. Blue looked at him funny, but sighed and moved to explain.

"Other than being the greatest clan to ever exist, they're our only lead in getting you back home." Blue replied, not quite sure how Ben had forgotten already.

Ben laughed in emberassment "Right. Anyway. Do you have any clue as to whom we're fighting next?" He asked while helping Jelly re-adjust his buckler so it wasn't as loose but didn't cut off his circulation

"I guess they should be up by now, the last fights probably just finished." With that, she jumped over a low wall separating the pedestrian area and the fighting ring to cut across and check the tournament board. There were fights still going on in the other rings, but they too were about finished. When she got there, there already was a crowd of people massing around. A couple names were listed in the Battles of Thirty two. She pushed though everyone and examined the board for herself. There, under ring three, she saw themselves paired up with FC Camoa. It didn't hit her until she was already back with the clan that they would be fighting the Reflex Sisters.

"What's the word?" Jelly asked, suddenly ready for a fight. The food really did help his nerves.

"FC Camoa" Blue replied. "No need to get your things, it'll be here."

"A Fencer's Club? I thought you needed to be a clan to be here." Jelly noted.

"Perhaps they are for just this purpose."

"Fencers? What are fencers?" Ben asked. Fencing was a long forgotten art in his Ivalice, it died out once the viera had left the planet or died out. It was still a mystery that only the eldest scholars were studying.

Rapiers though don't stand a chance at blocking an attack from a heavy weapon. The swords are made to parry an opponents attack". Hyri leaned forward on the ring wall, looking across. She rolled herself so her back was to the wall "That's what I read in a book once at least". With a short jump Hyri sat on the wall, for better comfort. "We have Gordon though, he will slow them down. It should be an easy match for us" she said with confidence.

"It's the reflex sisters you should worry about. Even with Ben's slow, they'll be hard to hit." Blue told her as she joined Hyri on the wall. The other fights were just about finished, and their fight would be called soon. She thought about their opponents and thought about a strategy to defeat them. "Gorden's time magic and black magic will be needed to take the sisters on, Ben, you too." She turned to the rest of the clan. "I'm pretty sure I can take on any others, so can Jelly. Hyri's got the reach to take them on as well."

Gordan nodded, but something bothered him. If the relex sisters could move faster even under the effects of slow, what good would his spells be? Apart from aiding his group, he would be a sitting duck.
Relax... We'll see what happens soon enough.

Ben nodded "Blue keep in mind I won't use THAT spell however" Ben was referring to the flare spell he'd used once before. It would either kill/knock out an enemy or damage them remarkably. The spell however is known to use up a remarkable amount of magic power.

"Ladies and gentlemen! The round of Thirty-two is about to start!" Called out the announcer, back from a fifteen minute break. "Our first three fights of the round shall commence in ten minutes!" He informed everyone. Blue saw the crowd get bigger and bigger, a good sign seeing as their first fight was nearly empty.

"Is it just me, or are there a lot more Viera in the crowd than usual?" Blue asked as a whole section of them walked on by. "Perhaps a cheer squad of some sort?" Blue noticed Gaz on the other side of the ring, he caught her staring and quickly put his hood up. The announcer that was calling the fight in ring three finally arrived.

"Sorry folks, had a quick lunch break." Apologized a rather gassed Seeq who must have hurried to the amplifier box. "Alright, ahem!" He cleared his throat. "As we can see, our fighters are already making their way to the ring, gotta like that enthusiasm, fellas! Don't worry though, folks, it is safe to go get refreshments. We have a few moments before the blades fly." The announcer informed the crowd as he noticed Blue and Hyri sitting on the wall of the ring.
