stryker was walking down main street. well what was left of it. many riots had destroyed most of the buildings and streets. and the buildings still standing where gang head courters. not even the police tryed to take them with out a good reason.

stryker was lucky. lucky in the sense the person who took him in and took care of him was able to hide him before they where taken by the police. its punishable by law if you help a wolf yet they say we have been dead for over 200 hundred years. -sigh- humans do crazy shit when there scared.

stryker continued to walk to the only tree in town. it was huge and the suppising thing was the gangs threaded to kill anyone who would harm the tree. i guess some humans arnt all bad. most gangs where good just did bad things but for good reason. like stealing food and supplise.

stryker sat under the tree. listening to the birds. wondering where to go next.

"KILL HIS ASS!" an angry thug member yelled. Three other thugs joined in the brawl, however all four were soon on the ground and in pain. There was a laugh from a teen in all black

"I've been here a month and you guys who call yourselves 'the wolves' try and kick me out? I don't think so" the teen said.

The leader of the group got back up "Get out of here and we'll take it easy on ya"

Xan just laughed "Oh really?" Xan charged at the thug with inhuman speed and tackled the thug "Tag you're it." He said

Aria spoke to the only person left she felt she could trust in this world, her protector: "If wolves went extinct, why did I not go with them? This secrecy is so hard! I want it to end! It is not even close to believable that I would be the ONLY wolf left, there have to be others out there! I need to find consolence in this world!" Aria ranted.

"Aria, its alright, just get a good night's sleep and we'll talk about it in the morning. Good night."

"...Sleep tight."

"...and don't let the wolf hunters bite!"

Xan was done with his brawl to keep his building and he won. He was walking around aimlessly and saw someone asleep (Stryker) and sighed. It was going to rain soon. He could smell the water approaching.

Carefully picking him up Xan carried the kid to his building. Once he was there Xan set the kid down and threw his cloak over Stryker to keep him warm as Xan built a small fire.

Aria fell asleep as she had a dream of two wolf boys sitting around a fire. If only this dream were reality, she thought to herself. I would no longer be the only wolf left! I could finally spend more time wolf than human, run, and have fun, without fear of the wolf hunters. Alone, I am powerless, but three wolves together, we could accomplish ANYTHING!

Xan was in his wolf form now. The kid was asleep next to the fire and Xan was heading towards the roof. Once he was there he howled as loud as he could. Not to signal other wolves because there were none but it made him feel like he wasn't alone

As Aria was sleeping, she heared the faint note of a howl. She dissmissed it as her groggy head waking up, or maybe a noise outside.
There was another howl. This time she knew it was real.
Aria left a note at her bedside for her protector, and went into wolf form. She ran after the howls until she came up to a small, rugged building, and knocked on the door. The door creaked open slowly, and Aria opened her eyes.

Xan was finished howling and began back down to the fire. Xan saw a girl looking around. 'A hunter?' he thought to himself. He snuck around in the shadows. He stepped on something that snapped. He saw the girl turn towards him and start walking to him. Xan started to growl trying to intimidate her

Aria spotted something backing into the shadows. She began to heard growling emanating from the shadows.
"You sound like....... A WOLF! You're a wolf! I thought there weren't any left, but..... YOU'RE A WOLF!"
Then, Aria saw another boy on the floor.
"Then who is he, and better yet, who are you?"

Xan emerged from the shadows human and clothed "Who am I? Who and what are you?"

"We'll can't you tell just by looking at me, even in my human form?" Aria went back into wolf form, "I'm a wolf. Hi, my name's Aria, I hea---- I think your friend, or whoever that is over by the fire, is waking up."

stryker tossed and turned the same dream he had almost every night was haunting him yet agian. the great thing stryker thought him self was to hear while he was asleep. even thou he was out of it he could wake up and give you the jhist of the convesation. "no stop, not him, not now." stryker was sleep talking. he finaly woke up enough to realize he wasnt by his tree or out side for that matter "where am i [sniffs] and why do i smell wolfs?"

Wondering around aimlessly came acrossed a town. "I smell humans just great first kicked out of my pack now i have to deal with humans of all thing." Yuri thought to himslelf.

"Well maybe they wont be able to tell I am a wolf....I will just do my best to blend in until i get what i need and leave." Yuri planned in his head.
