Decrypting this sumbish

I've been working on decrypting the code from comic #135 for a LONG a-- time now. Bout' a quarter of the way done, having some trouble with the bigger gaps though, here's what I got so far:

Kale: Ugh, what's... what's goin' on? /

Strange voice: ...Kale... /

Kale: What? Who's there? /

Strange voice: Before.th...ld.r..o...H...ill...tac..s.o....d.s..te.his...n.ll..ti..s. /

Kale: What are these... I can't see, it's too blurry... /

Strange voice: Find.he..po..t..ia....He.is.the.one.you.seek....v.n..ag...t. /

Kale:I... I can't hear you, the words are all garbled up! /

Strange voice:I.am.trying.to.warn....you..ia...e..o.l..t.v..u.c..s.i...!..Please.Kale,.you.must.pr..re(prepare, maybe?)! /

Kale: I don't understand! Who are you?? /

Strange voice: I.am.your.ally. /

Strange voice:I.am.Luc-(Lucy?(Kale's mother, maybe? )) /

Kale:W-Wait! /

Kale: Come back! /

Fox Kale: Oh, good, you're still alive! - I was afraid some silly tentacle had stolen your death from me. /

Kale: Har har. /
