Though it would be pretty cool to try, here's some backstory:
Some time after the events of Twilight Princess, the land of Hyrule declined into chaos. Starting with Hyrule Castle, where the disappearance of Zelda and Link following the lifting of the twilight created a power vacuum. Would-be Kings and Queens fought and died alike until finally, the victor stood amongst the rest. The man's name, one Lord Frederick Dampe (took the name from the grave keeper in LoZ:OoT) took control with an iron fist. His first order of business was to expel all outsiders from the kingdom, barricading the approach at Kakariko Village and Damming up the river to Lake Hylia. These actions angered the Zoras and Gorons, who had subsequently lashed out against these attacks on their own people.
Prince Ralis was never as good of a ruler as his mother was. When Lake Hylia was dammed and eventually dried up, the blame amongst his people ultimately rested on him until his exile a couple years later. The Zora's new leader since has been a mystery to outsiders, but attacks on the remaining Hyrulean settlements north of the castle have increased since Ralis's ousting.
The Goron Elders were old and dying, and Darbus battled the sickness that followed him after his encounter with a fused shadow until his death not long after. The Patriarch was then taken over by Gor Liggs II, puppet elders were installed and the mine shut down. As an outspoken proponent of the old regime, Dangoro was exiled to remove all competition of the council.
The Bulbin's purpose were shattered when Ganondorf was defeated. Without a powerful leader to turn to, the tribe fragmented and fell apart over the years. Those still loyal to Lord Bullbo remained in the desert, and quickly conscripted themselves to fight amongst the newcoming Garudos who were driven from their westerly homes due to famine and war. The Garudo presence in Hyrule was not tolerated, and they have been fighting since their arrival.
Races:
Hyrulean: A race that closely resemble Humans except with long pointy ears.
Gorons: A race of large rock people. There are no females in this race, as they are born from Rocks.
Zoras: A race of humanoid fish people. Most warriors are women.
Garudo: A race of predominantly female warriors. They are of the same species as Hyruleans, but their dark skin and long noses differentiate the two peoples.
Bulbin: A loose term for a collection of Orc and goblin races. Very little of them speak Hyrulean.

Appearance: Tall, dark brown skin and yellow eyes. Unlike most other Garudo, she is often caught wearing sheik clothing, a punishable offense due to the traitorous affiliation with the royal family.
Personality: Cold and judging. She is very racist and often believes many of the stereotypes propagated amongst her clan. She is very compulsive about remembering information, often carrying a notebook.
Possessions: A large knife, handbombs, and a hookshot to get around the desert. She carries a pen and notebook.
Background: After her clan's move into Hyrule, she has faced many hardships that come with living in the desert and the constant wars that have been fought. Before entering the warrior age, both her parents passed away in some of the most brutal fights between the two sides that she had ever seen. She befriended a Bulbin archer by the name of Screeva, and the two had been inseparable up until Screeva's much expected death a year after her twentieth birthday.

No. I don't have internet at my house. (yet) So I go down to the town bar and hook up to their router from outside (they don't SEEM to mind) but I'm willing to try role playing despite the whole thing. I have not had Internet access in my home for almost a year!
Personality: gullible, but generally kind hearted, trys his best to be the good guy in the situation, but sometimes may be to quick to judge.
Possesions: a short sword, a wooden shiled, a back pack containg assorted bandages/medicines as well as some food (he knows basic first aid)
Background: Kevin lost his parents durring the time in which twilight covered the land, he was...in a way adopted by a man named Tallis. Friend of Kevins father and a retiered soldier of princess Zelda. Tallis taught Kevin how to fight and the value of showing others kindness. But Tallis being as old as he was, passed away on Kevins 16th birthday since then...Kevin has been nothing more than a traveling man for hire, and it is during these new trying times of conflict. That Kevin hopes to aid others as needed
Alright, I guess I'll get it started, hopefully more people join. Still waiting on other people to post in my other RP, but it seems that everyone has been too busy to hang around much.
I know right? I was actually thinking of redrafting my demon slayers rp but have it better written and more player driven. Because in the end it became one of those follow the leader type RP's.
Appearance:Like most goblins, small and dark green. Wears an iron armor, stolen from the dead body from a hylian soldier.
Personality: Friendly and relatively intelligent for a goblin.Aggressive towards anyone who looks like an enemy, or insults him.
Possessions:A mace, a bow, a quiver, a war-boar and some personal belongings.
Background: Jack has grown up in the desert, together with his brothers to be risen to be warriors. He had heard the legends of the great slaughterer. This so called hero of time had brought much fear and hatred into him of the Hylians. Jack comes out of a small desert village with no name. He has been trained in both fighting with a mace, and bow and arrow. In his class he was the best archer, but only ok in hand-to-hand combat. Over time he had lost more and more family, thanks to wars. Now he only has 1 brother left, and the population of the village has decimated from 60 people to 10 people.

Appearance: Yve is about 5'6" has a light blue complication and deep sea green stripes over her whole body except her under belly and arms. she has greenish yellow eyes and blue lips. she has 2 foot fins from her legs and forearms that can become stiff and hard. used for swimming and combat. they are the same color as her body with a green trim, around the edge.
Personality: Yve is a beta she stays out of the way unless there is no leader then she will stand up and take charge. usely quiet and stayes out of conflict trys her best to see every angle to a situation and to people.
Possessions: her mothers anklet that is was originally a choker, it was found with her mother dead body and was cut off there wasn't enough fabric to make it a choker again so they did what they could and made it a anklet. also a small water fox looking thing called kuro, its small enough to ride on her shoulder and there is where it always is or its in her bag. (let me know if you don't want the fox thing)
Background: Yves mother and father where very loyal to the queen and where one of her closest friends. as they got older they would sit around and tell everyone storys of how they met the hero of time. soon people stopped believe they really had and just took the storys as myths. her parents where killed when she was 14. all she knew was she went home and they where dead on the floor. and on there possession was a note. "Yve, don't let the people be lead a stray." Yve grow up with her best friend and became like a sister to her and a daughter to her friends parents. at Yves 18 birthday she looked around and felt something was missing. she had noticed how she had new parents but she needed the old ones. . . it was then she vowed to find out what happened and why it had to be done.
